AI implementation for mid-sized companies · local or cloud
Do you know where the customer list is that was copied into a chat window yesterday?
We introduce AI and workflow automation in your company, on your own server or in the cloud: your systems are connected through an MCP server, your knowledge becomes readable, and operations keep running. The MCP server checks every request: everyone sees only what they are allowed to see today, and every access is written to the audit log. For companies with 20 to 250 employees whose team already uses ChatGPT or Copilot.
2:38 min: how a request runs through the MCP server. Interfaces from a demo environment.
These companies work with Weber Media, the company behind Workflow Agentur

01Live demo
The same MCP server, the same systems, three roles. The AI gets no rights of its own; it inherits those of the person asking. Click a role. All data is fictional.
Your team asks in the usual environment, in Teams, in the browser or in the business system. The MCP server works invisibly in between.
crm.get_customerallowederp.get_conditionsallowedcrm.export_alldeniederp.get_invoicealloweddwh.kpi_summaryallowedEvery access is checked against the permissions in your directory service and logged.
Documented: little. Usable for AI: nothing. Example values.
02The problem
Where does the customer list end up that a salesperson copies into a chat window? On a server you do not know. Who approved it? Nobody. Who knows about it? Usually only IT, and only from the admin portal.
And the second problem is older than any AI: the colleague who has known for thirty years why the plant is set up differently in damp weather is leaving next year. Nobody wrote it down.
Rarely because of the model. It comes down to four points, three of which have nothing to do with technology.
The knowledge base is filled once at launch, after which nobody feels responsible. After six months it answers with outdated prices.
Permissions are copied once instead of being read fresh from your directory with every request. Whoever changes department still sees everything.
Nobody wrote down beforehand how to tell that a step is done. So it is never done. That is the never-ending project.
The system answers plausibly, but nobody can check where it got the answer. One wrong answer is enough, and nobody trusts it any more.
Two leaks nobody sees
AI adoption in your company has long since happened. Nobody has steered it, though.
There is another way. With an MCP server that checks every request before data leaves the building.
03The solution
It follows an open standard, the Model Context Protocol. In practice it is the one place where every request is checked, answered and recorded. Your systems stay as they are.
04Architecture
Four layers, one direction: your systems at the bottom, above them the MCP server, the knowledge base and the data layer, and at the top the result for your team. None of it replaces what you have.
Integrations
For these systems we have described what the connection through an MCP server looks like: which data the AI may read, where the permissions apply, and what appears in the audit log.
05Working together
No contract for the whole project. Three steps, and after each one you decide whether to continue. The first costs nothing.
You describe how your company works and where AI is already used today. You receive a one-page document: where AI adds value for you, which three processes to start with, local or cloud, and whether it is worth it. We will tell you if it is not.
Intake on site or digitally, data classes, sequence of processes, acceptance criteria per stage. A document that management understands in ten minutes and the works council knows in advance.
The MCP server is in place, the first two processes run on it, and the audit log shows every access. Then you decide on stage 2.
06The offer
No pilot that nobody is responsible for after six months. A system with an owner, acceptance criteria, an audit log and a documented test run for the works council, which your team uses from day one.
1What stage 1 includes
Clear scope for each stage, based on the roadmap. The roadmap is credited against the implementation.

08Questions
A 30-minute conversation, even if you are only at the very beginning with AI. You describe how your company works, which systems are running and where AI is already used today. We tell you where AI adds value for you and where it does not, whether locally or in the cloud, and what a first step would be. Afterwards you receive a one-page document with a clear recommendation, even if the recommendation is "not yet". Free of charge, no documents needed.
>MCP is an open standard through which AI models talk to software. The MCP server sits in between, checks every request against the permissions in your directory service and logs it. For your team it is invisible; for IT and data protection it is the place where everything becomes traceable.
Both connect tools, but without a permission check per person: whoever triggers the workflow gets everything the workflow can see. That is enough for newsletter automation. It is not enough for customer data, contracts and accounting, as soon as the works council or data protection ask who may see what.
No. ERP, CRM, file storage and specialist software stay. They are connected, not replaced. That is why stage 2 builds on stage 1 instead of starting from zero.
Either on your own server or in a data centre in the EU, with a DPA (data processing agreement). You decide in stage 1 which model may see which data class. A model outside the EU is only used if you explicitly approve it for a data class.
Every project starts with the free initial conversation and a roadmap. Implementation is offered per stage, with a fixed scope and an acceptance criterion. We name figures after the roadmap, not before, because beforehand we do not know how many systems and processes are involved.
No. It helps if someone in the company knows the systems and can grant access. We take over operation, updates and monitoring if you want us to.
Before stage 1 we schedule a session with the works council. There they see the rules: which data, which permissions, what is logged and what is explicitly not evaluated. In stage 2 there is a documented test run. The list at the top of this page is meant to be passed on.
09About
Owner-managed, based in Hamburg, Germany, working across Germany. From the start you talk to the people who also build your system, and you have a fixed contact with no handing over.

Builds the connection to your systems himself and explains it in a way that management can pass on in ten minutes. Four articles in Handelsblatt on process automation in mid-sized companies.

Your direct contact from the first conversation to operation. Keeps appointments, acceptances and queries together so your team does not have to chase anyone by phone.
