onOffice MCP Server: The AI Connector at a Glance

Yes, there is an official MCP server for onOffice enterprise: the onOffice AI Connector. It connects your estate agency software with ChatGPT, Claude, Mistral or Langdock, so your team can query properties, addresses and appointments directly in the AI chat. This page explains what it can do, what to clarify beforehand and when your own integration makes sense.

Is there an official onOffice MCP server?

Yes. onOffice offers the onOffice AI Connector for onOffice enterprise, and it works via the Model Context Protocol (MCP). You activate it in the onOffice Marketplace, receive your own MCP server address and enter it as a connector in your AI assistant. The AI chat remains your interface, and onOffice supplies the data.

For estate agencies, this means you do not have to program your own MCP server to hook Claude or ChatGPT up to onOffice. The work lies elsewhere, namely in permissions, data protection and the question of which processes should go beyond the chat. We explain separately what an MCP server is in principle.

In short: The AI Connector is the official MCP access to onOffice enterprise. According to onOffice, it is included in the “all-in” and “expert” packages, works with the rights of the signed-in user and has been tested with ChatGPT, Claude, Mistral and Langdock.

What the AI Connector can do

On its product page, onOffice names the following actions, among others, from within the AI chat:

One point is not clear on the page itself. In its frequently asked questions, onOffice writes that the AI can “currently” create activities and tasks, with further functions planned. The function list, however, also names creating and changing properties and addresses. Check in your own account which tools the connector actually offers before you build a process on it.

Typical questions from everyday office work that land directly in the chat this way:

  1. Looking up a property“Which three-room flats in Eimsbüttel do we currently have on the market, and which of them have a balcony?”
  2. Preparing a conversation“Summarise what has happened with Ms Example since her last enquiry.”
  3. Following up a viewing“Create an activity for today's viewing and a task to follow up in three days.”

Connecting Claude to onOffice: how it works

According to onOffice, setup needs no programming skills. For Claude, the onOffice help describes these steps:

  1. In onOffice enterprise, copy the MCP server URL under Marketplace → onOffice AI Connector → Set up.
  2. In Claude, add a custom connector under Settings → Connectors and paste the URL.
  3. Enter the code that Claude displays in the AI Connector setup in onOffice. The connection is then in place.
  4. In Claude, set per tool whether it is used automatically, only after confirmation or never. onOffice recommends configuring this carefully in advance for tools that handle personal data.

For ChatGPT, the onOffice help refers to a separate guide; there, the connection runs via developer mode.

Data protection: what to clarify before switching it on

According to onOffice, whether use is GDPR-compliant depends on the specific use and the chosen AI provider. So there is no blanket approval. These points should be clarified before the first chat:

How we secure MCP connections in general is covered in the guide MCP server, security and GDPR.

When the connector is enough and when you need more

The AI Connector covers the most common case well: a person asks in the chat, onOffice answers. As soon as a process is to run without a chat or bring several systems together, you need a layer of your own on top.
